If your power fails or your internet connection
goes down then your stuffed I'm afraid until they come back
The only way you might still be able to use VoIP
under these conditions is if you have juice in your laptop battery and
your regular phone line is still up so that you can dial out. Probably
only worthwhile considering this if you have an international call to make
and it's urgent...and you're tight!
